The Director of Asset Management under direction from the Executive Director and Director of Operations, plans, organizes, manages, and provides administrative direction and oversight for all asset management functions designed to preserve the long-term health and financial viability of the real estate portfolio of the Paterson Housing Authority and its affiliates. Under general direction, performs complex professional work of considerable difficulty planning, organizing, and directing activities of assigned functions related to the Housing Authority’s real estate portfolio, including financial oversight of properties; provides highly responsible and complex professional assistance to the Executive Director and Director of Operations in areas of expertise; and performs related work as required. General supervision is exercised over the Property Managers. The incumbent also provides guidance and leadership to the whole team staff, primarily through implementing policies and procedures and then observing performance. staff of professional, technical, and clerical employees.  Related work is performed as required.
